Fu-Han Tsai's Award-Winning Design Combines Modern Comfort with Classical Elegance

The entrance to the residence is marked by a large cabinet and partition made of metallic fretwork, serving as a medium between the porch and the living room. The vertical structures create a looming space that intersects between visual and reality, presenting a unique spatial experience. The living room wall, painted in a neutral color, is complemented by curtains of the same hue on the French windows, creating a consistent style.

The TV wall, made of rock parapet, serves as a segment between the living room and the dining room, enhancing the public area. The study room, located at the back of the living room, is designed to maintain privacy while allowing for penetration. It features a transparent slide glass door and an open cabinet that showcases the owner's comic books and models.

The bedroom, located on the upper mezzanine floor, is a private space crafted with consistent wooden materials that complete the overall design. Dark woodworks and a titanium doorknob create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, while colorful chairs and greenery plants infuse the room with a joyful and vivacious atmosphere.

The residence is a testament to the designer's ability to use different materials to create a unique aesthetic. The porch features a wall made of metallic fretwork panel cut by coated laser and wavy-vein rocks, cloth dangling lights, and stone-patched floors, creating a multi-sensory atmosphere. The public area, constituted by the living room, dining room, and study room, is marked by a display cabinet made of sandblasting cypress veneers, complemented with an antique mirror, slates, and marble tables and chairs, creating an atmosphere of simplicity.

Fu-Han Tsai's "The Fashion" was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2017. The award is a recognition of top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
